Law on Organ Transplantation in Asian Countries(Ⅳ)

Abstract
|

|
Organ donation Act of 1991 was enacted in Philippines as Republic Act No. 7170 to auth~;rize the legacy or donation of human body for transplantation and etc in 1991.
The law is comprehensive and cardiopulmonary or brain death is legally accepted alternativt~ly in section 2 of this act.
In section 14 international sharing of organs or tissues is proposed.
Repealing clause of section 17 separability clause of section 18 with rules and regulations ,s section 16 make execution of the act simple, effective and effecient.
